IB/AP Art series:1.
Ares the Greek god "He's the Greek god of war and battle and the instigator of violence, a son of Zeus and Hera. Because of his cruel and war-like nature he was despised by all the gos, even his own father disliked him. Ares could be bloody, merciless, fearful, and cowardly possessed no moral attributes. He was, however, unable to withstand the loveliness of Aphrodite, who subsequently became his consort."

Lately IB and AP classes are driving me nuts, due to the teacher and her absurd method of rushing us and wasting our times with things that dont relate to our art projects...
My investigation on five and six have yet to be finished but I will upload them when I am done with them.
What I used/About the picture:
-140 lb watercolor paper (for texture)
-Prang, Prisma, Crayola, and Artist Loft's colored pencils
-0.1 and 0.5 pigmentliners
-0.5 mechanical pencil
-about 2 and a half weeks //lots of hours. (on and off)
My OC Arian, serves well as a representation of the god Ares. They have a lot of common attributes and it was not intentional.
I'm quite proud with the outcome.
Finished it a week ago though.
The creature in the back is a vulture and wolf mix. It has the head of a vulture but instead of being completely feathered, it has the wolf's fur pattern on it.
Creatures that were linked with Ares. (that I didnt want to draw seperately)
